Altered Gift Bag

I've had this gift bag for 8 months trying to come up with something to do with it. I had seen other people alter them to make very stunning gift bags. So I gave my hand a go at it. Long Weekend !

OMG it has been one very long weekend for me! My hubby decided to do some computer cleaning. He works in computers. He told me he done some file cleanup on our computer cause where he works use something and it cleans up and delete files that's not been in use for some time or something that's not connected in any way shape or form. Well needless to say he deleted our ethernet files. So our computer that I had been using no longer will let us log onto the internet because these files are gone. He put those files back on but they still won't let us log on! We have DSL! So we pulled our daughters computer from her room to use for this internet. And OMG what a pain in the behind. It's nothing like mine. I miss mine! Trust me it's a hassel! It's slower then mine to. So I've not been able to get on line all weekend long cause hubby was working on ours.

Yesterday I was gone all day to the thyroid doctor for my checkup! Plus I got to go do some shopping both scrapbooking and clothes. I love shopping. I pickup Cosmo Cricket 'Dutch Girl' packet and two Basic Grey packets that I had been eyeballing for sometime, Scarlet's Letter and Fruitcake, along with Amercian Crafts pp's! Love them all and I can't wait to sink my teeth into them!

I missed all of you! I'm back but using my dd's computer!

Very sad news.....

again! I tried out for another DT. Another one in the wind so to say! I'm going to vent a little. My total of DT's I've tried out for is just out of this world. I mean really. Do I suck that bad at scrapbooking, cardmaking or altering. I mean really. Am I not answering the application the right way with wrong answers. I mean really what is it! I'm bummed again about another DT and not getting it. Would you like me to tell you exactly how many DT's I've tried out for since the beginning of the year (2007)

Yes that's right twenty-two. Two of them twice each and made the DT on one of the two. I'm really really grateful for that DT. She has given me the chance to show her what I can do. And I can never tell her how much I appreciate her given me that chance. HUGS to Nicole at Scrapbooker's Club House. Link located on the side bar. So really what's wrong with me! I work my butt off and still NOTHING! I've got my hat in on another DT and sometime this month we will know who gets it. I'm really having my doubts about getting this one to. Thinking of You! Card

I was asked to make a card for someone and this is my creation for that card! The first photo is of the front and the second is the side view of the same card! I stitched each layer of the flower down. Then bending the paper up at the stitch line! I also distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Ink. Play Ball Mini Album

Ok starting off I've made this mini album for three different things, first of all I made it for the Laura's Mini Album Challenge over at Scrapbooker's Club House, Just Your Scrapbook Headquarters and their Grand Opening Contest along with Scrap Shanty DT Call!

I kept this pretty simple. Didn't want to overload it with a bunch of embellies. So here's my first ever altered mini album. What I used to make it, chipboard that came from my pj's packaging, sewn together than folded in half to make me a mini album. Modge Podge the pp to the pages. Then I added my photo's, Epoxy Tiles, inking and journaling is pretty much all I added to this cute album. I totally love it! Supplies: MME pp's, Heidi Swapp Chipboard, Pressed Petal Chipboard, Miss Elizabeth White Letters Stickers, misc. number stickers, Zig Pen, Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Ink, EK Success Epoxy tiles, Offray Ribbon, tag from the kids new school clothes. Scrapbooker's Club House Nov GDT Contest

Are you Scrapbooker’s Club House’s next “Guest Designer”? Each month we will be choosing from your entries to see who our next Guest Designer will be. Sound good? Great!!! Here are the details for the month of November: It’s all about “Thanksgiving Dinner”….You will choose any theme you wish, you do not have to do a Thanksgiving Layout…but you can if you wish. You will however, have to choose your menu items. These are food items that are usually served at Thanksgiving. You will choose “only” Seven (7) Menu items and "pm" me your menu choices. I will then "pm" back to let you know what product/technique go with the items you chose. You must create your Layout with these 7 items ONLY (Cardstock will not be counted as one of the 7 items, this is a freeby)

I had wanted to scrap these Kindergarten Field Day Photo's for since I took them back in May of this year. I created this LO for my challenge for the crop Scrapbooker's Club House had, yes I know I'm just now getting to posting it here on my blog.
