Manila Folder Album Tutorial

Ok chica's I found this cute little Christmas idea gift. So here's the link to the tutorial. I have yet to do one. Which I'm working on right now! I love it!

Manila Folder Album by Taylor VanBruggen

NOTE: when you follow the directions it's important to refold the folder before you start. a new folder is not folded in half. one side is wider than the other. you need to refold it so the tab is even with the other edge. This is very important!

Merry Christmas Cards/Design Team News

I know another Christmas card. Sick yet?! I'm making some Christmas cards for my kids to take to their teachers later of course. But this was a great way to use up some scraps that were big enough to do something with. I used my Scrapbooker's Club House Nov Kit to make this super quick card! Love it and it's simplicity. Supplies: Doodlebug Embossed CS, ribbon, Tim Holtz Black Soot Ink, colored pencils, zig pen
OMG OMG I'm excited to tell you all, my wonderful friends. But I've been working on getting on the design team for the last couple of months. The DT had two phases that you had to get through. Phase one was getting picked to move on to phase two, which was to help with a Virtual Crop. I did this with pleasure and we all had a blast doing challenges and so forth! I'm now officially 'ScrapCity Socialites'! How cool is that. Anyhooos I'm so very excited and I can't wait to get my first KIT with them. Oh boy I'm on cloud 9 and still doing the happy dance! Thanks Wendy and Tina for the wonderful opportunity to get to work with and for you ladies!

Christmas Ball Ornament

I know it's not fancy and all but it's my first Christmas ornament that I've ever made! I altered two SEI Chipboard Coasters the are 3 inch circles. Cut slits in each so they would slided together more easily. Inked all the edges as well. Voila you have an easy ornament for your tree this year. You could fancy this up but I didn't at least until I know how it would go. Pretty easey pleasey! This is the same one in both photo's it's just the front and back of the same ball! TFL! ~Dawn
Supplies: SEI Chipboard Coasters (2), Basic Grey 'Blitizen' PP's, Tim Holtz Black Soot Ink, Ribbon
