Over at Scrapbook Heaven they are having a week long CROP filled with projects for Christmas. At this point I've only gotten to two projects done and I've got some I'd love to get to. Hope I have the time to do so cause are all great projects.
If the crop doesn't catch you fancy then look at the weekly challenges that they have there as well. There's something for everyone. Great place to be ladies! The gals there are super nice and talented.
My last project I made for Treasured Scrapbooking 'Think Pink Cyber Crop' this past weekend. This was for Erin's Boobilious Challenge. I wanted to do something so very different for the challenge and this is what I did. NO laughing! lol!
I took an new old underwire bra that I bought years ago and never wore. Decided to do something with it and Erin's challenge was perfect for using it.
I altered it with medium yellow ric rac, ribbon, primas and buttons.
Well I'm more then just a little disappointed that I didn't make the team. I really worked my butt off over at Scrap 4 Life. Well life does go on and here's what I made for the very last challenge. The girls that did get picked for the team I wish you all the absolute best in your 6 month adventure over at S4L!
**WEEK 4** CHALLENGE
This last challenge is you have to create an altered Christmas item/project. You are pretty much open to create whatever you want. (No layouts or cards please).
This month KTCrafts is sponsoring Some Assembly Required (SAR) Altered Challenge Blog. You can find links to both KTCrafts and SAR in my sidebar. Please go have a look. You have all month to alter your BIRDHOUSE. Anyhooo's here's mine that I did. And it hangs on my front porch.
Another project that I made for another class over at KT Crafts (link to site in my sidebar). We used those name badge holders. I bought mine at Wal-Mart. They come in a package of 12! I only used 4 for this album because you have the front and back.
Supplies: name badger holders, American Crafts 'Play' PP's, misc. ribbons, rubons, buttons
KT Crafts had a very wonderful crop this past weekend. We have until Sunday, 23rd to get everything finished. There was lots of games, RAKS being given out, challenges and class that delighted everyones needs. It was absolutely full of FUN! Here's my post it note cover that I made for Vicki's Post It Note Class. Simple and quick to make!
Supplies: American Craft PP's, ScrapWorks Glitter Shapes, ric rack, small scalloped deco scissors
I found these cute little projects at Martha Stewart. I use to make these in school all the time. Now my dd makes them. So what a fun project this turned out to be! You can make these either with the center stick or leave that as is, without the stick! I've made these two. One is more advanced and the other simple except for adding embellies. But I personally like them both ways! You can make these for any occassion!
I'll be adding a tutorial later for these if anyone wants to make these cuties!
I had to make another of these little treat boxes for my ds for Valentine's Day! Supplies used: Basic Grey pp's, Pressed Petal Chipboard Shape~Heart, rubons, jumbo ric rac, Paper Studio Bling
My SBS3 sister Maren is such an inspiration to me. She's always creating the cutest things ever. On her blog she created a similar little box. I loved her creation so much I wanted to make one for my dd for Valentine's Day. So here's my project using this tutorial. Supplies: Basic Grey 'Gypsy' PP's, Primas-Say it in Cyrstals (pink), Colorbok Chipboard Ribbon Slide, Miss Elizabeth Ribbon, Stazon Jet Ink, Deco Scissors
I came across another cool Christmas ornament that I just had to make. Here's the tutorial I found to make the Pinecone Christmas Ornaments. I made two of these. One each day this weekend. They are just absolutely GOREOUS!
