Here's my newest card using Tamara's #29 Card Sketch! Also I used ScrapCity Sponsored Feb Memory Mania 'Daisy Barouque' KIT. I really enjoyed working with this kit. It was packed full of yummy goodies! So a big thanks goes to Tammy at Memory Mania for the amazing kit!

ScrapCity First Guest Design Team March Call

ScrapCity Guest Design Team Call

Due by Midnight CST on Feburary 10th

Chosen on February 15th

We are looking for a Guest Design Team member to join us for the month of March at The Scrapcity. As a Guest Design Team member, we will showcase your work in our gallery, blog and forum. We are looking for someone who is fun, creative and is willing to be a part of a fun team!

As part of our DT as a GDT we would like you to actively participate in our message board along with commenting on the work in the gallery. We would like a minimum of 10 posts a day with 2-4 topics started each week. You may be asked to run a challenge or contest. We would like active participation on the board; if this is something you are unable to do…we ask that you try for a GDT in another month when you are able have more participation.

You'll receive the monthly DT kit and be required to complete layouts / projects required.

You may apply for the Guest Design Team position submitting the following “new” creations by midnight CST on February 10th in our on-line gallery in the “March GDT folder”:

2 paper layouts (8x8 or larger) using a Valentines or St. Patrick’s Day theme

Made this card using Sketches! {by Tamara} Card Sketch #27. The possibilities are endless with this new sketch. You can see my card over at Tamara's to. Combined this Sketches! Sketch with my DT work for Savvy N Sassy. Isn't that ribbon GORGEOUS!

Wow it took me like forever to get a half way decent photo of this card. It just wouldn't take good. So I took a photo of it out in the sun. I'm still not pleased with this photo of my card. The colors are bright and here that doesn't show. When I had taken more then a half dozen photo's of this card this one was the best. Ok I made this LO for several things, first I used Country Liv's First Sketch and here. I thought it was amazing so I used it. I combined it with my Savvy N Sassy DT project by useing their Jan ZZ 'Sweet Nothing's' Kit. What a very lovely kit to work with. CPS #46 ~ Congrat's Card

I used CPS newest sketch to make this cute card. I might make a couple of others for different themes. I inked all edges of the Basic Grey 'LilyKate' pp's, distressed the Maya Road Naked Chipboard flower then stamped it with my Autumn Leaves Swirl Stamp and got the effect you see here. TFL! ~Dawn

Sorry MIA!

I've been working on getting another DT. Plus I have been so busy with family/work that I've just not had any mojo to work with. I wanted to let you all know I'm still here. I'll be working on some things today so I can start posting them to my blog.

~My first card for 2008 and boy do I love it. I used Sketches! {by Tamara} to make this baby happen. When I saw the sketch I just fell in love. Tamara has some really amazing sketches for both layouts and cards. If you haven't checked them out you really should, lots of great inspiration happening over there! Challenge this month is to create anything (LO-no smaller than 8x8, altered projects, 3 cards) using sheer ribbons and masking technique. Please show us your beautiful creations.
Winner will be our Guest DT member for February!

2. Your layout must meet the contest rules and guidelines to be eligible.

3. Your layout has to be newly created specifically for this contest.

4. You may share your layout on other websites.

5. You must be a registered member with the forum and have a minimum of 10 posts to enter the contest.

6. If you do not meet all the requirements of the contest rules your layout will be disqualified so please pay close attention to the guidelines and rules.

7. Contest runs each month from the 1st to 28th, so you have to upload your creations by midnight MST on 28th each month to be eligible to win.
