Center Piece/Candy Dish

I found these cute little projects at Martha Stewart. I use to make these in school all the time. Now my dd makes them. So what a fun project this turned out to be! You can make these either with the center stick or leave that as is, without the stick! I've made these two. One is more advanced and the other simple except for adding embellies. But I personally like them both ways! You can make these for any occassion!
I'll be adding a tutorial later for these if anyone wants to make these cuties!

Altered Gift Box

Woohooo here's a double DT project. I used my Feb Memory Mania 'Daisy Barouque' Kit from my ScrapCity DT Sponsored Kit along with my Savvy N Sassy January ZZ 'Sweet Nothings' Ribbon Kit.

Technique I did on my box: I used Stazon Jet Ink and Autumn Leaves Swirl stamp and stamped the image on my Heidi Swapp Big bloom. Cut that bloom in half and then fold those pieces in half again. Creating the butterflies wings under the Heidi Swapp Ghost Shape Butterfly. Added a touch of ribbon and some bling to finish the butterfly! TFL! ~Dawn

Notecard

Oh I got to try another amazing technique that I found through my friend Maren. I love the card she made using this technique. Of course Maren is the greatest inspiration. I took the technique and made my own version of the Dahlia Fold by add a circle of ribbons behind the flower. Totally cool effect. Anyways I had loads of fun making this amazing notecard. Thanks for the inspiration Maren! Your the best.
Supplies: Crate Papers, jumbo felt ric rac, oodles of ribbons
