Altered Project for SBCH DT

My first altered project for my Scrapbooker's Club House DT using their Sept Kit! Dynomite kit to say the least! The kit papers are from Paper Trunk, yummy to work with! Over at Scrapbooker's Club House there is a tutorial for my project in the Altered Objects/Online Classes Thread.

September Design Team Reveal

Here are three LOs for Scrapbooker's Club House Sept Kit of the month. I totally fell in love with this kit. It's just totally amazing to work with and I've just had a ball creating my things with it! Stay tuned, there will be more from this kit!

Our Filly with her first saddle on!

Yesterday we took the kids horseback riding but our silly mare didn't want to be rode. She spooked at every little thing. Wouldn't do what you wanted her to do. She had never been this bad about being rode. She was just plain bull headed. After we came back home my hubby and dd decided to try to put a saddle on our filly who is only year and two months old. My hubby was very delighted that she gave him no problems. He said she acted like it didn't even bother her to have it on. She just stood there. 'Shadow' is our filly's name she walked around with that saddle on her for 30 minutes. Until we took it off her. My ds rode on her back with the saddle for almost 5 mins. No problem there either.

My dd back a month ago started leading 'Shadow' around with a lead rope. Now she just love it. My dd even ties her to a tree with absolutely no problems. We are going to have a nice time breaking her in. And hopefully we will not have problems like we do with her mama! Keeping our fingers crossed! TFL!

Altered Frames

Made the first frame from my mother-in-laws birthday back in March using Basic Grey PP's, Primas, buttons, Lil Davis Rose Ribbon, MM Metal Hearts, Zig Pen. Hardwood Floor Start to Finish

Ok this is what my husband and I've been working for 5 weeks. And we were completely done with it as of July 29th 2007. The first photo is what our living room looked like before we tore out the carpet there and in the hallway. My hubby did everything himself and of course I helped out as well as our daughter. This weekend we will put all of our furniture back where it belongs. And I can't wait for my house to back in order. I love the new look and how everything turned out! I'm excited beyond joy! Again I thankful that is completely DONE! ~Dawn

Softball LO

I tried a new technique tip myself yesterday. I found this tip over at Treasured Scrapbooking in their Tips/Techniques Thread and I just had to do this tip/technique myself. It's easy as pie! Try it!

Want a perfect circle? Try this out! Take a pencil and trace any round object that you have {I always use a small plate from our kitchen} and trace it onto your desired spot. After that, take sticky tape and form it around the pencil lines to create a circle. Then place your ric rac around the very same circle. You can mesh the ric rac to your desired circle effect of your choice! It's a perfect circle!

Scrapbooker's Club House DT..

I'm in!! OMG I'm so very excited to tell you. I made the DT over at Scrapbooker's Club House You should really go look around and join in and have FUN. It's a gorgeous site and everyone is so very friendly. The kits are awesome and the owner is super nice and loved by all!

Back to the DT. I just can't say enough, I'm so excited to be a part of this DT and this 'family' fold. I'm all nervous, fluttery, my hearts a racing and I'm a bundle of excitement!! WooHooooo!

I want to thank Nicole for giving me the opportunity to work for her DT and her site. I do hope I can make her very proud!
